2011 Volunteer Information
If great golf were the only criteria for success there would be no question the Arnold Palmer Invitational Presented by MasterCard is a winner, but we believe it is much more than that! Golf is only part of the story…a story that includes two world-class hospitals that carry the great name of Arnold Palmer. As the primary beneficiaries of the tournament, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies are the real winners each March, and we acknowledge they are the reason so many people freely volunteer their time and talents.
The tournament cannot operate without the help of volunteers. If you are dependable, dedicated, flexible and friendly and would like an opportunity to volunteer for one of the most prestigious events on the PGA TOUR, please click here and register your name on our wait list.
Volunteers are required to purchase the $85 uniform package
(valued at over $300).
The Volunteer Uniform Package includes:
- 1 NIKE Tech Polo (navy blue)
- 1 NIKE jacket (navy blue)
- 1 tournament cap (men) or visor (ladies)
- 2 weekly grounds badges (for guests)
- Invite to Volunteer Appreciation Party
- Volunteer handbook
- Volunteer name badge & pin
- Breakfast and/or lunch for days worked
Volunteer Reward System
1-5 years worked
- 20 - 39 hours worked = $20 MasterCard Gift Card (no golf privilege)
OR - 40+ hours worked = 1 Volunteer Golf Day
6+ years worked
- 20 - 39 hours worked = $20 MasterCard Gift Card (no golf privilege)
OR - 40+ hours worked = (1) golf voucher & (1) $20 food & beverage voucher will be issued
