BAY HILL INVITATIONAL NOTES • The Australian becomes just the second international champion in tournament history at the Bay Hill Invitational, joining South African Ernie Els who won in 1998. • Victory comes in fifth start at Bay Hill Invitational. Previous best was a tie for 15th in 2002. 2006 NOTES • Becomes the fifth international champion on the PGA TOUR in 2006 and the third Australian to win this season. The list of foreign-born winners in 2006 include -- Stuart Appleby (Mercedes Championships), Rory Sabbatini (Nissan Open), Geoff Ogilvy (World Golf Championships-Accenuture Match Play Championship) and Luke Donald (Honda Classic). • With paycheck of $990,000, season’s earnings now stand at $1,174,639 on the 2006 PGA TOUR Official Money List. PGA TOUR Reaches $1 Billion Milestone in Charitable Giving as

The PGA TOUR announced that it has reached the $1 billion milestone in charitable contributions with the donations from this past weekend’s tournaments – the Chrysler Championship in Palm Harbor, FL, the Charles Schwab Cup Championship in Sonoma, CA and the Nationwide Tour Championship in Prattville, AL. During the 2005 season, the PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and Nationwide Tour and their tournaments, including the Bay Hill Invitational presented by MasterCard participated in Drive to a Billion, a year-long campaign focused on reaching the milestone and celebrating the spirit of giving and teamwork in 100 communities across the country. Since the TOUR’s first recorded donation of $10,000 in 1938, more than 2,000 charities and one million lives have been helped annually.

Arnold Palmer Hospital Benefits From $264,000

Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women recognized the donation of $264,000 from the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge, the PGA TOUR and its players over the past two years during a ceremony today which included TOUR player Brian Gay along with representatives from Arnold Palmer Hospital and the CRESTOR® Charity Challenge. Following the check presentation Brian Gay visited with pediatric patients and helped them with their putting strokes in the hospital’s atrium, which was transformed into a miniature putting green, while staff members and hospital visitors participated in free cholesterol screenings organized by the hospital.

Champions for Children Raises $7 Million

ORLANDO, FL (October 17, 2005) – Created 14 years ago to fund the highest priority needs of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women, Champions for Children has raised $7 million. Golf-legend Arnold Palmer and many of golf’s best players will tee off at the 14th Annual Bert Martin’s Champions for Children pro/am golf tournament at 8:30 a.m., Monday, October 24, at Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lodge, 9000 Bay Hill Blvd. Proceeds will help fund the addition of the Bert Martin’s Champions for Children Emergency Department & Trauma Center at Arnold Palmer Hospital. The tournament is presented by McKesson.
